HIGHLIGHTS

In addition to performing at major festivals including Woodford Music Festival, The National Festival, Yungaburra Festival, and Palm Creek Festival on a number of occasions, I have had other special performance highlights such as the following.

2011 I entered Australias Got Talent and singing some of my original songs, I managed to get through the first three auditions to the live televised shows at the Gold Coast Arts Centre. Positive comments from the most difficult judge Kyle Sanderlands was an achievement. !!

2012 I entered the Brisbane Superstar Contest and competed with over 3000 contestants to win my heat, then win my semi final and to then perform at the Grand Final on the Concert Stage in QPAC Performing Arts. This has to be the best venue in Queensland. I was thrilled to win SECOND PLACE, again singing one of my original songs – the famous “Teeth” song.

2013 I was chosen as a finalist in the Logan Superstar Contest and performed in the Grand Final at the Logan Entertainment Centre.

Also in 2013 I enrolled in the Lord Mayors music program and was one of 30 people chosen by the mentors to perform at several shopping centre venues. From those 30 the Top Ten were chosen and I was honoured to be one of them. This gave me the chance to sing at the Lord Mayors Gala Concert in the newly refurbished City Hall. It was a spectacular event and I was accompanied by a seven piece orchestra. I was also so honoured to sing a duet with the lovely Debra Byrne (famous for her long musical career and her beginnings in Young Talent Time). This sell out event of over 1500 people was great. Comments such as “this is the best concert I have ever attended” were backed by the standing ovation at the end. It was a huge honour to be part of it.
